Samuel is a research assistant for the Vollmer group at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI). He is a Data Scientist, Software Developer and Energy Enthusiast.

He is also one of the lead contributors to the Machine Learning in Julia (MLJ) project. His current research interests include Scientific Machine Learning and Applications of Data Science for Social Good.
