I am Sumantrak Mukherjee a Junior Researcher in the Data Science and its Applications (DSA) group at the German Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) headed by Prof. Dr. Sebastian Vollmer. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from BITS Pilani, India. My research interest lies in Online Experimental Design, Causality, Multi Armed Bandits and Active Learning. My research encompasses both theoretical and practical aspects of experimental design driven by the objectives of developing (I) Robust, Explainable algorithms capable of handling imperfect feedback (II) Creating scalable implementations and tools to tackle real-world challenges effectively.
