Prof. Sebastian Vollmer at the Science and Technology Committee of the British House of Commons

On Wednesday the 19th of January, 2022, Prof Sebastian Vollmer was acting as a witness in an evidence session of the UK House of Commons Science and Technology Committee on reproducibility and research integrity. The panel focussed on reproducibility challenges in research which uses artificial intelligence and machine learning.

He spoke in third part of the enquiry that included among others Prof. Neil Ferguson (Faculty of Medicine, School of Public Health, Imperial College London), Prof. Dorothy Bishop (Developmental Neuropsychology, University of Oxford, FBA), Prof. Ben Goldacre (Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Science, University of Oxford) and Dr. Jessica Butler (Centre for Health Data Science, University of Aberdeen).
